Le Meridien
| During the time we were in Budapest, traditional afternoon tea was not available anywhere. However, the brand new Four Seasons Hotel has recently been constructed, and visitors are now able to have traditional tea. |
Le Meridien is located in the historic Erzsebet
Square in Budapest, Hungary. The hotel used
to be known as the Adria Palace when it was
first built sometime between 1914 and 1918. It
is now a member of the Leading Hotels of the
World.
Instead of serving in the style that we are used
to, a tea time buffet is available for your
convenience in Le Bourbon, which can be
found on the lobby level. I was very delighted
to have discovered that Le Meridien had a tea
time buffet, because I did not expect to find
anything in Hungary. One can find a wide
selection French and Hungarian desserts in
the tea time buffet as well.
You can eat from the tea time buffet between
three and seven o'clock.
