Grand America Hotel
My family and I have been going to Park City, Utah for the past four years. My own reason for visiting the Grand
America Hotel again was to partake afternoon tea.

The elegant style of the building was inspired by the great hotels of Europe. The Bethel white granite exterior and
detailed architecture are indeed fascinating additions to the city.  It is a member of the Leading Hotels of the
World, and located in the heart of modern Salt Lake City.

When you enter through the front doors,  you can feel the classic charm of your sorroundings. I was very
impressed by the  elegant setting and abundant details that go continously through the hotel.  Chandeliersfrom
Murano and Milan, refined furniture, tapestries, and art are all from Europe.

The splendid Lobby Lounge has a sophisticated  yet relaxed atmosphere, perfect for afternoon tea.  I
wasfascinated by the different methods of their servings.  You will first be served with tea,  all blends from
Harney and Sons. Guests can also have a choice of various hot chocolates, including mint, milk,  raspberry, and
coconut almond chocolate.  Next, the delectable arrays of prociutto ham, pacific cold smoked salmon and bay
shrimp salad with watercress are served.  During my visit, the scones partnered with devonshire cream and fruit
jams, and the sweet pastries and tortes are all presented on a cart: my favorite portion of the ceremony. While
enjoying this blissful moment, the  discreet tone of the harp complimented the soothing aromas of tea blends that
permeated through the room.

Away from the fast-paced outdoors, my overall experience was the highlight of my visit.  It is no wonder that the
pleasure of having afternoon tea is becoming a popular diversion,  for visiting guest afternoon teahere in Grand
America is a must.
